Calling all graduating seniors

GRAND PRIZE: Ownership of a brand new Ford plus a $1,000 scholarship to the continuing education institution of their choice!

RUNNERS UP:Twenty $1,000 scholarships will be awarded.

*Scholarships will be paid directly to the school they choose to further their education in a chosen field, college, or university.

HOW DO STUDENTS WIN?

  • A. To be eligible for this program:
    • Student must be a graduating senior in the class of 2014
    • Student must have an overall GPA of 3.0 or higher
    • Student must meet district Attendance Policy
    • Student must have a minimum of 15 service hours with your local community during your senior year
    • All paperwork must be turned into the appropriate district by May 9th – see Details/Process for more information
      *Above information must be verified by school officials
  • B. At the end of the school year each participating school will draw 10 names from their list of qualified students.
  • C. These 10 pre-qualified students will then be combined with the 10 qualified students from each of the other participating schools.
  • D. At a “drawing ceremony” at Kendall Ford of Meridian, the combined names of students will be presented and 21 FINAL names will be drawn.
    • Each of these students will be given a key to a vehicle
    • Students will test their key to see if they won
    • Remaining finalists will get a $1,000 scholarship
