Martin Buser Puppy Day

Martin Buser, four-time Iditarod champion will be bringing his
latest team of Happy Trails Sled Dog puppies to Kendall Ford
of Wasilla for one night only. Don’t miss this opportunity to
meet Martin and his pups! Young and old alike will love hearing
Martin’s stories about sled racing and the care and training of
sled dogs. 5:00-7:00

Join the Outdoor Heritage Foundation and Kendall Ford of Wasilla, your home for great deals on cars and trucks ready to take on Alaska, for a family event that raises awareness and educates young people on the great outdoors and safety in the elements!
Lasershot Big Game Hunter Education Program will be on-site with realistic hunting scenarios displayed on a big screen—to shoot or not to shoot, learn when and why—with up to four shooters at a time. The National Archery in the Schools Program will be with us, which is a great opportunity to let your kids get hands-on experience in archery with OHFA providing bows, arrows, targets and a backstop. Another way to teach kids about conservation and wildlife will be Sensory Safari where they’ll be able to handle animal hides, bones, horns and more, all while learning about Alaska and the great outdoors.
There will be free hot dogs, soda and chips for those in attendance, as well as a live appearance from a local radio station. Join us for this fun day of learning that’s almost too fun to be called that!
