As part of the community and Kendall Cares, we give back in many ways. One way is Salesperson Ron Bovee provides an informative tour at the Kendall Idaho Center Auto Mall. ” I have always made time for the up and coming 11th, and 12th grader’s from the outlying schools to come to take a tour of our facility and organization”, says Ron.

The group who joined us today was from Emmett accompanied by instructor, John Lindsay.

Some of the young adults are on the local high school rodeo team, and ALL have to hold a 3.0 (very flexible) GPA or better to participate in the tour. They were shown many areas such as parts, service, oil change area, wash bay area, sales floor, outside, and a tour of ALL parts and service storage areas. Some of these bright individuals are recommended to a attend college-level VO-TECH (Vocational Technical College) either at CWI in Nampa or CSI in Twin Falls, once they have finished high school.

Once they complete the program and following their apprenticeship, then we welcome them aboard as a fellow Kendall team member.
Ron believes that this is an essential part of Kendall Gives Back, stating, “This generation of students all are top notch kids who have been on farms and around mechanics and machinery like we all have here.”
