Anchorage Plastic Bag Swap Event

Two days prior to the city-wide ban on plastic bags, Kendall partnered with the mayor’s office and multiple Anchorage businesses to host a bag swap in Town Square Park. This event provided Anchorage residents the opportunity to trade their old plastic grocery bags for new reusable tote bags to use for shopping. Over 600 reusable tote bags were distributed!
