Homemade face masks are not as effective as surgical masks or N95 respirators, but most experts say they are better than nothing when it comes to preventing the spread of the coronavirus.

We found when making these that we did much better with a visual aid. Here are photo instructions of how you make a mask. We are not professionals, but we think this is the easiest and fastest way to make a mask.
The one pictured is a children’s mask. The only difference is that the adult masks have 3 pleats rather than 2.
