Kendall Auto Alaska Supports Food Bank of Alaska’s Emergency Food Distribution

In response to COVID-19, Food Bank of Alaska has begun assembling emergency food boxes for seniors and low-income families. Each box weighs 35 lbs and contains enough goods for 24 meals. Food boxes are delivered directly to homebound seniors in need.

To support Food Bank of Alaska’s emergency food box program, Kendall Auto of Alaska has donated $3,500 to purchase the first 1,500 boxes used for the product to be distributed in. In addition to volunteering last week to deliver the first set of food boxes directly to homebound seniors.
