This event holds a special place in our hearts as it mirrors our commitment to making a difference in the lives of those affected by cancer. Relay For Life is not just an event; it’s a global movement of passionate supporters working towards the common goal of ending cancer, as we know it, for everyone.

History of Relay For Life:
The roots of Relay For Life trace back to May 1985 when Dr. Gordon “Gordy” Klatt embarked on a 24-hour walk and run around a track in Tacoma, Washington. His mission was to raise money for the American Cancer Society, addressing the nation’s most significant health concern: cancer. Supported by friends, family, and patients, Dr. Klatt covered an incredible 83.6 miles, raising $27,000 in pledges to help save lives from cancer.

How You Can Get Involved:

Create a Team: We invite you to create a team and join Kendall Auto of Marysville teams, Chevrolet, Ford, and Subaru on the track. Let’s walk together, share stories, and make a real impact.

Sponsor the Event: If your heart calls you to join Kendall Subaru of Marysville and sponsor this remarkable event, please reach out to Julia Auve at Julia.Auve@cancer.org or call 206.278.8630.

By participating in Relay For Life, you become part of a global community that believes in the transformative power of unity, celebration, and remembrance. Together, we can actively contribute to the fight against cancer and make a lasting impact on the lives of those affected.

Let’s walk hand in hand towards a future without cancer.
