SUMMARY:Kendall Central Oregon to Host Cub Scout Pinewood Derby!
DESCRIPTION:Kendall Central Oregon is set to host the Cub Scouts district-wide Pinewood Derby on Saturday\, March 16th! This will be the second year that Kendall is hosting the Pinewood Derby for six cub scouts’ packs\, giving over 100 kids the opportunity to put their building & engineering skills to the test down the track. The Pinewood Derby is a beloved tradition that involves building small cars that encourage the scout’s creativity and craftsmanship. The kids not only learn how to engineer their own cars\, but the value of teamwork\, sportsmanship\, and adaptability in competitive situations. Kendall invites our community to join us in cheering on the scouts starting at 10:00am and creating a memorable & impactful experience for the kids\, families\, and staff involved. According to the Crater Lake Council\, “The Pinewood Derby is a highlight of the Cub Scout experience\, and we can’t wait to see all the amazing creations in action. See you at the races!”

DESCRIPTION:Easter at Kendall is a special time for our staff and the families at the Ronald McDonald House & St. Charles with a child receiving medical care. To spread some smiles and Easter cheer\, the Kendall Cares team has collected toys & activities to show the children\, or siblings of the children receiving medical care\, that we are thinking about them! We are grabbing our bunny ears and the Kendall Easter Bunny will be delivering the baskets on March 21st at 11:00am in the lobby at St. Charles Medical Center!
