SUMMARY:The Easter Bunny is Coming to St. Charles & The Ronald McDonald House!
DESCRIPTION:Easter is just around the corner\, and every child deserves a visit from the Easter Bunny! The Kendall Team\, including the Easter Bunny\, will be visiting the families staying at the Ronald McDonald House and St. Charles to deliver Easter Baskets and provide families with the opportunity to take photos with the Easter Bunny. The Kendall Cares team has been working with the Easter Bunny to make baskets full of surprises for the patients and siblings of children receiving care. On April 10th\, the Easter Bunny will make a visit to the Ronald McDonald House and then hop over to St. Charles\, where all families will get to meet him! This invite is not only open to the pediatric and NICU departments\, but all families who are there visiting members receiving care. Stay tuned to find out what those Easter Baskets are hiding; the only hint we can give is that our partners at Slumberkins made sure every child will have a kin to snuggle when they are feeling down!

SUMMARY:Ford Built Tough Scholarship Recipients to be Announced on April 24th!
DESCRIPTION:Central Oregon Students to Receive $1000 Scholarships from Kendall!\nKendall Central Oregon is thrilled to announce the recipients of a scholarship program that recognizes hardworking FFA (Future Farmers of America) members who are entering or currently enrolled in 2-year\, 4-year\, or trade school higher education programs. Kendall will be awarding three $1000 scholarships to members of the Bend FFA\, Redmond FFA\, and Crook County FFA chapter. Applications were submitted from students at Mountain View High School\, Redmond High School\, and Crook County High School. On April 24th\, Kendall team members will be going into each of these high schools to present big checks to the winners\, and hear more about what they plan on doing with their higher education journeys! \nThe FFA (Future Farmers of America) plays a crucial role in shaping the future of agriculture by equipping young people with leadership skills\, practical knowledge\, and a strong work ethic. Through a blend of classroom instruction\, hands-on experiences\, and community service\, FFA members develop a deep understanding of agricultural science\, business\, and sustainability practices. FFA’s emphasis on leadership\, teamwork\, and public speaking prepares students not only for careers in farming and agribusiness but also in fields like engineering\, education\, and environmental science. By nurturing the next generation of agricultural leaders\, FFA ensures the continued growth and innovation of the agriculture industry\, which is vital for food security\, rural community development\, and sustainable environmental practices. \nScholarships provide essential support to FFA members as they transition from high school to higher education or career training\, helping them pursue specialized studies without the stress of financial burdens. With scholarship funds\, students can explore college programs\, trade schools\, or certifications in agriculture\, business\, environmental science\, or other related fields\, allowing them to build on the knowledge and skills they developed in FFA. This financial aid enables graduates to access high-quality resources\, participate in internships\, and focus on their studies\, rather than worrying about covering tuition or materials. Additionally\, scholarships reduce student debt\, giving FFA members greater freedom to start their careers or invest in their agricultural projects. By supporting their education and career development\, scholarships empower these students to make a lasting impact on their communities and the agriculture industry.
