Three Peaks Performance is a youth basketball-focused nonprofit committed to developing a culture of leaders on and off the court\, to impact the community in a positive way. The organization was founded by former collegiate basketball student-athletes\, Alyssa Martin and Jacki Gulcynzki. After sharing a vision for a program that builds youth basketball in Central Oregon\, Jacki & Alyssa developed Three Peaks built on the values of community\, development\, and passion.  \nSince 2017\, the program has grown from one team with two coaches to over 17 spring/summer travel teams\, 20+ coaches\, and over 200 participants. With the growth of the program\, Three Peaks wants to provide more opportunities for youth athletes in Central Oregon by providing scholarships and keeping costs for gym rentals low\, and quality of coaches and programs high. To support the growth\, Three Peaks hosted their first dinner & fundraiser at Kendall in 2024\, where their organization raised over $10\,000. Three Peaks Performance will be hosting their second fundraiser with a dinner\, live and silent auction\, and so many more surprises! These funds will give more players the opportunity to participate\, compete in tournaments\, and be coached by a staff with strong experience!

Kendall Central Oregon has partnered with Newport Market for our annual Peanut Butter Drive\, benefitting NeighborImpact Food Bank. For the entire month of May\, Kendall will be donating one case (6 jars) of Peanut Butter for every car sold\, and one jar for every client service repair. Our partners at Newport Market will be hosting & amplifying the drive as well\, giving customers the opportunity to purchase a jar or a case at checkout. The Peanut Butter Drive would not be possible without Newport Market\, who doubles the impact at their store and provides all the peanut butter fresh and at cost. This not only allows our organizations to increase the amount donated but ensures that quality peanut butter gets into the hands of families and local food pantries that need it the most.  \nWhy Peanut Butter: Peanut butter is one of the most highly requested items among food banks in the US. Food banks often have to purchase peanut butter to meet the demand for it\, due to the fact that it is a shelf-stable protein (contains 8g of protein per serving\, fuels summer lunch programs and food pantries year-round\, and is loved by children\, adults\, and senior citizens alike.  \nWhere Does the Peanut Butter Go? The PB starts at Newport Market & Kendall Dealerships\, where it will then go to NeighborImpact Food Bank’s new warehouse in Redmond. From the warehouse\, over 59 partner food pantries\, Meal Sites\, and shelters will pick up the Peanut Butter—among many other food items—and then distribute it throughout Central Oregon. NeighborImpact Food bank has Partner Agencies in Bend\, Redmond\, Madras\, The Confederated Tribes of Warm Springs\, LaPine\, Sisters\, and Prineville. Most importantly\, the PB donated through this drive will stock summer lunch programs for kids in need while they are not in school to ensure every child has a safe\, successful summer.   \nAbout NeighborImpact Food Bank: NeighborImapct Food Bank serves Partner Agencies in Bend\, Redmond\, Madras\, The Confederated Tribes of Warm Springs\, LaPine\, Sisters\, and Prineville. In 2024\, NeighborImpact network provided food assistance 857\,513 times—that’s an average of 71\,459 people served per month throughout Central Oregon. 36% of the individuals served are children. In total\, NeighborImpact and their partner agencies distributed over six million pounds of food last year\, direct to families or through partner agencies to all ages.  \nWhy We Need Your Help: We are asking our community to join us in the Peanut Butter Drive 2025 to increase the impact from previous years. Despite efforts in years past\, the Peanut Butter donated only lasts for a few months\, before it is all distributed to families and partner agencies. Kendall will be awarding three $1000 scholarships to members of the Bend FFA\, Redmond FFA\, and Crook County FFA chapter. Applications were submitted from students at Mountain View High School\, Redmond High School\, and Crook County High School. On April 24th\, Kendall team members will be going into each of these high schools to present big checks to the winners\, and hear more about what they plan on doing with their higher education journeys! \nThe FFA (Future Farmers of America) plays a crucial role in shaping the future of agriculture by equipping young people with leadership skills\, practical knowledge\, and a strong work ethic. Through a blend of classroom instruction\, hands-on experiences\, and community service\, FFA members develop a deep understanding of agricultural science\, business\, and sustainability practices. FFA’s emphasis on leadership\, teamwork\, and public speaking prepares students not only for careers in farming and agribusiness but also in fields like engineering\, education\, and environmental science. DESCRIPTION:Easter is just around the corner\, and every child deserves a visit from the Easter Bunny! The Kendall Team\, including the Easter Bunny\, will be visiting the families staying at the Ronald McDonald House and St. Charles to deliver Easter Baskets and provide families with the opportunity to take photos with the Easter Bunny. The Kendall Cares team has been working with the Easter Bunny to make baskets full of surprises for the patients and siblings of children receiving care. On April 10th\, the Easter Bunny will make a visit to the Ronald McDonald House and then hop over to St. Charles\, where all families will get to meet him! This invite is not only open to the pediatric and NICU departments\, but all families who are there visiting members receiving care. Stay tuned to find out what those Easter Baskets are hiding; the only hint we can give is that our partners at Slumberkins made sure every child will have a kin to snuggle when they are feeling down!
