The 41st Annual YMCA Harrison Classic Kids Run took over one of Boise’s most iconic streets on Sunday, October 4, bringing together families from across the Treasure Valley for an afternoon full of running, cheering, treats, and plenty of smiles.

For more than four decades, the Harrison Classic has given kids ages 14 and under the chance to experience the excitement of race day in a welcoming, family-friendly environment.

The one-mile course takes runners and walkers down historic Harrison Boulevard, surrounded by some of Boise’s beautiful fall colors and classic homes. For many local families, it’s become one of those traditions that gets passed down from one generation to the next.

And the best part? No one has to worry about breaking a course record. At the Harrison Classic, every kid who crosses the finish line is a winner and goes home with a T-shirt, medal, snack, and a pretty great story to tell.

Of course, there was plenty happening off the course too. Families could refuel after the race with a lineup of local food trucks and vendors, including Blue Sky Bagels, The Rusty Dog, and Kona Ice. Because after running an entire mile, shaved ice is basically part of the recovery process, right?

While the Harrison Classic may only be one mile long, its impact goes much further. The event is designed to introduce kids to fitness in a way that feels exciting, inclusive, and fun while giving families an opportunity to get outside and enjoy one of Boise’s favorite fall traditions together.

Congratulations to all of this year’s Harrison Classic participants, and cheers to another year of medals, memories, and very enthusiastic little runners taking over Harrison Boulevard.

We’re already looking forward to year 42!

There are plenty of exciting ways to spend a Friday night, but giving away a brand-new car is pretty hard to beat.

Last Friday, Kendall Auto Group joined West Ada School District at Owyhee High School for the 5th Annual Fall Activities and Athletics Raffle drawing during halftime of the Owyhee vs. Eagle football game. The night brought together students, families, sponsors, and the community to celebrate an incredible fundraising effort and, of course, some very lucky prize winners.

The grand prize? A 2026 Nissan Rogue from Kendall Auto Group.

The winning ticket belonged to one lucky community member who wasn’t able to be there himself, but his daughter and granddaughters were on hand to represent him during the drawing. Not a bad phone call to get during a Friday night football game!

But the real win of the night went far beyond the prizes.

West Ada’s fall athletic and activity programs raised approximately $510,000 through the fall raffle, with the money going directly back to participating student programs to help offset costs and create better opportunities for students.

What makes the fundraiser especially impactful is that the proceeds from each ticket sale stay with the program that sold the ticket. That means when families, friends, and community members purchase tickets from a specific team, club, or activity, they are directly supporting those students.

With approximately $510,000 raised through the fall programs alone, West Ada is once again on track to surpass $1 million in annual raffle ticket sales.

An event like this doesn’t happen without a long list of people and organizations willing to step up for local students.

Kendall Auto Group was proud to provide this year’s grand prize vehicle and join a group of generous sponsors supporting the fundraiser, including Micron, ICCU, Coca-Cola and Swire Coca-Cola, Idaho Air National Guard, KM Engineering, Project Filter, Regence, SCHEELS, and Silver Star Communications.

From major prizes to community support, every contribution helps make the fundraiser bigger and more impactful for West Ada students.

We’re grateful to everyone who purchased a ticket, every student and program that helped sell them, and every sponsor who helped make the Fall Raffle possible.

Most of all, congratulations to all of this year’s winners, especially the newest owner of a 2026 Nissan Rogue!

Kendall Auto Idaho was proud to partner with Idaho Power to bring National Drive Electric Month to the Indian Creek Festival for the first time, creating an exciting evening centered around electric vehicles, innovation, and community.

This year’s event marked several exciting firsts. In addition to joining the Indian Creek Festival for the first time, the celebration was also held on a Friday evening, giving festivalgoers a new opportunity to experience electric vehicles up close.

One of the highlights of the event was seeing EVs put to work beyond the road. For the first time, two local businesses were powered using shore power from electric vehicles. The Rusty Dog was supported by the City of Boise’s Ford F-150 Lightning, while Elevate VR was powered by a Tesla Cybertruck, giving attendees a firsthand look at the versatility and capabilities of today’s electric vehicles.

The evening brought an outstanding turnout of attendees and participants, making this year’s National Drive Electric Month event one to remember. We are grateful to Idaho Power for their partnership in bringing this event to life and to everyone who stopped by to learn more, connect with the EV community, and experience the future of transportation.

Kendall Auto Idaho is proud to support opportunities that bring our community together while highlighting new technology and the many ways transportation continues to evolve.

The Kuna Stampede Rodeo returned September 3–5 for another memorable year, bringing three nights of rodeo action, Western tradition, and community spirit to Kuna.

Kendall Auto was proud to once again support this hometown event as it continued to grow with the addition of a third night of competition in 2026. Fans packed the stands to watch talented competitors take on a full lineup of rodeo events while celebrating the traditions that have long been part of Idaho’s Western heritage.

Since making its return in 2022 after a 73-year hiatus, the Kuna Stampede has quickly become a favorite tradition for rodeo fans throughout the Treasure Valley. Beyond the competition, the nonprofit event is rooted in values of hard work, integrity, family, and hometown pride, all while helping preserve and promote the sport of rodeo for future generations.

One of the weekend’s standout traditions was the display of the largest American flag in Idaho rodeo history, creating an unforgettable patriotic moment for everyone in attendance.

We are grateful to the Kuna Stampede Rodeo team, volunteers, competitors, and community members who helped make this year’s event another success. Kendall Auto is proud to support events that bring our communities together, celebrate Idaho traditions, and create lasting memories for families across the Treasure Valley.

We’re already looking forward to another great Stampede next year!

At Kendall Auto Group, we're proud to be part of the communities we call home. This year, we had an incredible time serving as the Exclusive Auto Sponsor of the Western Idaho Fair and connecting with so many wonderful people throughout the week.

From welcoming fairgoers at our tent to supporting special events and celebrating Idaho history, the fair gave us another great opportunity to get out in the community and make memories with our neighbors.

On Sunday, August 23, we were proud to sponsor Armed Forces Day, providing free admission to active-duty military members and veterans as a way to recognize and thank them for their service. We were also honored to partner with the Idaho Historical Society to bring the Idaho Liberty Bell to the fair.

The Idaho Liberty Bell is an iconic piece of Idaho and American history, and we were thrilled to introduce so many fairgoers to its story. The nearly 4,000-pound bell traveled to the fair on a Kendall Ford F-450, continuing a tradition that dates back to the 1950s, when Liberty Bell tours traveled across the country aboard Ford trucks.

We're especially grateful to the Idaho Historical Society for being on hand throughout the day to answer questions and share the rich history behind the bell. Bringing the Liberty Bell to the fair before it begins its journey through all 44 Idaho counties was a special opportunity, and we're excited to see the history it will continue to share across our state.

We also had a blast participating in the first-ever Fair Food Eating Relay presented by Idaho News 6. Five technicians from Kendall Ford Commercial & RV Service Center went head-to-head with local companies in a fast and messy competition to eat some of the fair's most iconic foods. From Pronto Pups and caramel apples to corn on the cob, cheesy bacon fries, and the famous Idaho Ice Cream Potato, our team was ready to take on the challenge.

While our Kendall team narrowly missed out on first place, they'll always be first place in our hearts! We're already looking forward to coming back next year, competing again, and hopefully taking home the gold.

Thank you to the Western Idaho Fair, Idaho News 6, the Idaho Historical Society, and everyone who stopped by our tent or joined us throughout the week. We're grateful for every opportunity to connect with our community and proud to support the events, traditions, and people that make Western Idaho such a special place to call home.

We'll see you at the fair next year!
