Kendall Subaru of Fairbanks, is making a difference in our communities means caring for every member of the family — including the four-legged ones!

We were proud to support Golden Retriever Rescue of Fairbanks, an incredible organization dedicated to giving dogs a second chance at finding the love, comfort, and security of a forever home.

And we couldn’t resist introducing you to a few of the sweet faces behind their mission!

Meet Susie, a 9-year-old black Lab mix, and Daisy, an 8-year-old sweetheart. There’s also Princess, a petite 2-year-old believed to be a Golden Terrier mix, along with another adorable 2-year-old Golden Terrier mix.

Then there’s Millie, a 10-year-old Lab whose story especially tugged at our hearts. Millie has found herself back in rescue more than once, most recently after the passing of her beloved owner. Now, this sweet senior girl is hoping for another chance to spend her golden years surrounded by love.

And there is some wonderful news to celebrate! Theo, a 2-year-old Golden Retriever, and Leroy, a 5-year-old, are both preparing for exciting new chapters. Their forever families are planning to welcome them home this month!

Every one of these dogs has a story, and every one deserves a happy ending. Whether they’re energetic youngsters, gentle seniors, or dogs navigating an unexpected change in life, they all have one thing in common: an incredible capacity to love.

We’re grateful for the dedicated volunteers and rescue advocates who open their hearts, homes, and lives to animals in need. Their compassion reminds us that sometimes the biggest difference we can make comes with four paws, a wagging tail, and a second chance.

From all of us at Kendall Subaru of Fairbanks, thank you to Golden Retriever Rescue of Fairbanks for the incredible work you do.

Because every dog deserves someone to love, and every happy ending starts with someone who cares.

Great food, wonderful company, and a community coming together for an incredible cause — that’s a recipe for something special!

Kendall Toyota Fairbanks was honored to serve as the Presenting Sponsor of the 20th Annual City Sampler: A Taste of Fairbanks, benefiting the Fairbanks Resource Agency (FRA).

Held on October 22 at the 8 Star Events Center, this beloved Fairbanks tradition brought together local restaurants, caterers, businesses, and community members for an evening filled with delicious bites, live music, and plenty of fun. But beyond the incredible flavors, the evening was about something much more meaningful — supporting some of our community’s most vulnerable neighbors.

Proceeds from City Sampler benefit FRA Senior Services, which provides essential care and support to Alaskans living with disabilities, Alzheimer’s disease, and other age-related dementias. These services do more than meet everyday needs. They help preserve dignity, encourage independence, and provide peace of mind to families navigating some of life’s most challenging moments.

For Kendall Auto Alaska, being the presenting sponsor was about more than supporting a fantastic community event. It was about standing alongside an organization that makes a meaningful difference in the lives of our Fairbanks neighbors every single day.

We’re incredibly grateful to the Fairbanks Resource Agency, the participating restaurants and businesses, the volunteers, and everyone who came out to make this milestone 20th anniversary so special.

When a community comes together with generosity and heart, amazing things happen. And sometimes, making a difference starts with something as simple as sharing a meal.

Here’s to 20 years of great tastes, generous hearts, and a stronger Fairbanks community!

Let’s Start Something Great — Together!

A Very Special Seawolf Hockey Night!

Kendall Toyota of Anchorage was excited to sponsor Game 2 of UAA Seawolves Hockey’s opening weekend on Saturday, October 3, as the Seawolves took on the University of Denver Pioneers at the Sullivan Arena.

But the highlight of the night for us came before the game even started!

We were so excited to have a very special Kendall kid, 6-year-old JJ, drop the puck to officially open the game! JJ is already in his second year of playing hockey, so getting to step onto the ice with the Seawolves made this an extra-special moment.

A huge thank you to UAA for making the experience one he will never forget. JJ received his very own Seawolves jersey signed by the players, got to meet the Seawolf, and high-five the team as they headed onto the ice.

With 3,500 fans filling the Sullivan Arena, it was an incredible night celebrating hockey!

Great job, JJ!

Go Seawolves!

Kendall Auto Alaska & IMA Help Keep Alaska Kids Safe

Kendall Auto Alaska is proud to team up with IMA in support of Safe Kids Alaska, helping make bike safety resources and properly fitted helmets more accessible to children and families throughout the Anchorage community.

Through this partnership, 911 bike helmets have been made available to the community this year. Helmets were distributed through local schools, community events, and all 13 Anchorage Fire Department stations, where families can access helmets throughout the summer as supplies are restocked.

Safe Kids Alaska also supported nine Anchorage School District schools during their “Bike to School Day” events, providing helmets and helmet-fitting assistance to help students ride safely and confidently.

Beyond the schools, Safe Kids Alaska provided helmet-fitting and distribution services at several community events and organizations, including the Anchorage Parks and Recreation Bike Rodeo, AWAIC shelter, ASD’s 21st Century Summer Learning Academy, and Catholic Social Services Refugee Assistance and Immigration Services Wellness Fair.

We’re grateful for the organizations, schools, firefighters, volunteers, and community partners who helped make this effort possible. Together, Kendall Auto Alaska, IMA, and Safe Kids Alaska are helping protect young riders and encouraging safe, active fun across our community.

Three races. Countless fast runs. One final showdown.

Kendall Toyota of Anchorage was stoked to be back at Hilltop for Race 3, the grand finale of the King & Queen of the Hill downhill race series!

With the crowns on the line, riders gave it everything they had for one last charge down the mountain. After three races of speed, determination, and fierce competition, the final points are in and the 2026 King and Queen of the Hill have officially been crowned!

Congratulations to our new King and Queen, all of our Race 3 winners, and every rider who took on the mountain throughout this year’s series. You made each race one to remember!

A huge thank you to Hilltop, the volunteers, families, spectators, and everyone who helped make this three-race series such an incredible summer event. Kendall Auto Alaska is proud to support Alaska’s biking community and be part of the action.

That’s a wrap on the 2026 King & Queen of the Hill! Until next year, keep riding, keep pushing, and we’ll see you back on the mountain!

As another Levitt AMP Soldotna Music Series comes to a close, Kendall Auto of the Kenai Peninsula is proud to celebrate an incredible season of live music, community connection, and summer fun at Soldotna Creek Park!

The Levitt AMP Music Series has become a true summertime tradition on the Kenai Peninsula. With an average of 1,700 people attending each week, the park comes alive with local residents and visitors gathering to enjoy free live music, spend time with family and friends, and experience everything that makes our community such a special place.

Over the past seven years, the series has continued to grow and has become a centerpiece of summer in Soldotna. Each season brings new programming, talented performers, and even more opportunities for our community to come together.

A huge thank you to the Soldotna Chamber of Commerce and everyone who works behind the scenes to make this series possible year after year. From expanding the event and bringing in new programming to booking high-quality performers, their hard work keeps these concerts free, welcoming, and accessible to everyone.

At Kendall, supporting the communities where we live and work is at the heart of who we are. We’re grateful to have been part of another fantastic season and to help support an event that brings thousands of people together right here on the Kenai Peninsula.

Thank you to everyone who came out, danced, sang along, and made this summer one to remember. We’ll see you next summer!

What a way to kick off the school year!

Our Kendall Auto Fairbanks team had such a great time partnering with the USO at Fort Wainwright and FSS at Eielson Air Force Base for Operation Backpack.

The turnout absolutely blew us away! At Fort Wainwright, more than 400 people came through in the first hour alone. We handed out 300 backpacks and countless school supplies to kids from preschool through 12th grade. Seeing families come through, kids picking out their backpacks, and all the excitement for a new school year made for a pretty special day.

Then we headed to Eielson Air Force Base, where 150 families joined us and 250 backpacks were donated!

There’s just something about seeing a kid walk away with a brand-new backpack filled with supplies that makes you smile.

We’re incredibly grateful that we get to be part of days like these and spend time with the military families who are such an important part of our Fairbanks community. A huge thank you to the USO, FSS, our volunteers, and everyone who helped bring it all together.

Here’s to new backpacks, sharpened pencils, fresh notebooks, and a great year ahead!

Kendall Auto Alaska was excited to sponsor the YMCA Summer Camp Kendall Cars challenge!

To finish out camp, teams put their creativity and imaginations to work designing and building their very own dream cars before putting them to the ultimate test—a final race-day showdown!

And wow, did these campers deliver!  From creative designs to some seriously impressive concept cars, every team brought something special to the starting line.

Then it was time to put the pedal to the metal—or feet to the grass! Campers raced toward the finish line to see whose Kendall Car would take the checkered flag. There was only one big wipeout along the way, but we have to admit—they looked pretty fast doing it!

A huge thank you to the YMCA for everything they do to support, inspire, and create memorable experiences for kids in our community. We’re proud to partner with organizations that make such a positive impact.

Great job to all the teams who built these fantastic cars, and congratulations to our winners!

We can’t wait to see what these future designers, builders, and racers dream up next!

What Happens When the Arctic Lightning Airshow Meets the Kendall Costume Crew?

Shenanigans… that’s what!

Picture this: tricycles racing, costumes everywhere, temporary tattoos, goofy photo booth moments, and enough laughs to rival the roar of the jets overhead. The Arctic Lightning Airshow got a little more colorful when Kendall Auto Alaska showed up ready to celebrate!

All jokes aside, we had an incredible time spending the day with our military families and the Eielson Air Force Base community. It was an honor to sponsor the Pit Stop Shade Tent, giving attendees a place to cool off, recharge, and jump right back into the action.

A huge thank you to our friends at the USO for joining the fun and helping create smiles with their temporary tattoo booth. From kids proudly showing off their fresh ink to adults embracing their inner child, the booth was a crowd favorite!

And a BIG thank you to Pepsi for generously donating Gatorade to our Pit Stop Shade Tent! We truly appreciated the opportunity to hand out cold beverages to the hardworking volunteers, participants, and spectators throughout the event. A little hydration goes a long way when you’re spending the day under the Alaska summer sun!

Thank you to everyone who stopped by to laugh, play, and celebrate with us. Supporting our military community is something we’re incredibly proud to do, and events like these remind us that sometimes the best way to say “thank you” is with a little harmless chaos, a lot of smiles, and unforgettable memories.

At Kendall Subaru of Fairbanks, caring for our communities means standing beside our neighbors when they need it most. We are honored to donate  to Bread Line, a Fairbanks nonprofit that has been dedicated to feeding people and affirming lives since 1984.

Every day, Bread Line provides meals, hope, and compassionate support to individuals and families experiencing food insecurity. Their incredible impact is made possible through the generosity of community donations and volunteers who work tirelessly to ensure no one faces hunger alone.

We are proud to partner with an organization that shares our commitment to strengthening the communities we call home. Together, we can help provide not only nourishing meals, but also dignity, hope, and a brighter future for our neighbors.

Thank you, Bread Line, for the life-changing work you do every day. We are grateful for the opportunity to support your mission and help make a meaningful difference in the Fairbanks community.
