The American Heart Association is accepting nominations for the 2015 Red Dress Award sponsored by Kendall Auto Alaska. The annual award celebrates women in Alaska who have made significant healthy lifestyle changes. One winner will be announced at the Heart Walk in Fairbanks and the Heart Run in Anchorage. The winner will also receive the prize of 20,000 airline miles.

Nominations will begin on national Go Red Day February 6, 2015 and three to five finalists will be selected.

Nominees cannot be an employee or immediate family member of AHA or Kendall Auto Group. Each finalist will be required to have a photo taken and submit additional details as needed about their personal story. Finalists will be depicted online, in-dealership and in promotional and advertising materials. AHA and Kendall will retain rights to all materials generated for the promotion. One winner will be announced at the Heart Walk in Fairbanks and the Heart Run in Anchorage. Finalists and winners will be selected by a combination of public votes and a committee. The decision of the committee is final.
