SHALL WE DANCE
An Angel Hair Foundation Event
SHALL WE DANCE
Shall We Dance made its grand return on Saturday, April 2 with another entertaining evening raising more than $300,000 for the Angel Hair Foundation.
Kendall (Eugene) has proudly supported this event for many years, but this year our very own Amy Newport (Kendall Oregon Community Outreach Director) was one of the celebrity dancers. Amy Newport, Matt Hogan, Blake Backlund and Heather Campion blew the crowd away with their performances. We might be a little bias, but we think this was the best Shall We Dance to date!
Dr. Heather Campion took home the crystal trophy Saturday night! Heather was born and raised in Eugene, graduating from Marist High School. Her love affair with dancing started at the young age of 3yrs old and carried into her college days where she was a cheerleader for the University of Notre Dame. Amy, Blake and Matt would often tease Heather during their practices, telling her she was too good, and wasn’t allowed to practice anymore.
Though the true champions of the night are the children and youth who will be given the gift of an Angel Hair System through the generosity of the sponsors, donors and attendees.
A heartfelt thank you to all who attended, to the celebrity dancers, and the extraordinary professional dancers, Ivan Khudoliy and Alisa Seleznova.
