500 Hours of Play in AK is a new program developed by Armed Services YMCA that encourages service members in Alaska to get outside and enjoy all that our beautiful state has to offer. This program is a self-paced challenge with prizes that runs January 2–December 31, 2023.
For the first 500 Hours of Play event in Fairbanks, Kendall Toyota of Fairbanks partnered with Armed Services YMCA to offer service members free admission to Ice Alaska – World Ice Art Championships. The event included a marshmallow roasting station, family portraits, sledding, and a self-guided tour of world class ice sculptures.
