Putting for Pups

The Humane Society of the Ochocos is a no-kill shelter located just outside of Prineville. This awesome organization is undergoing a fundraising campaign to build a new shelter that will be a more suitable, permanent shelter to better care for our community’s animals and serve the population continuing long into the future. The shelter that currently stands was built in 1995 as a temporary building; 27 years later and it is still a temporary structure that is in need of a permanent reconstruction!

Kendall Cares partnered with HSO to support in this fundraising campaign and kicked it off by joining them at their annual fundraiser at Meadow Lakes Golf Course. The 9^th annual golf benefit and auction raised over $20,000 for their build project, which will allow them to start phase one of the rebuild in the following year. The Kendall team had so much fun getting to know the players, sponsors, and organizations involved in making this event an absolute success.
