Spreading Holiday Joy with the Lisa Whitmore Shop with a Cop and Firefighter
This holiday season, Kendall Auto Alaska was thrilled to participate in the annual Shop with a Cop and Firefighter event, benefitting shelters in Anchorage. Together, we made a meaningful difference for children in our community, ensuring the holiday season was brighter for those who needed it most.
In previous years, approximately 60 children participated in this touching tradition. However, thanks to Kendall Auto Alaska’s support this year, every eligible child could join us at Fred Meyer to receive a special holiday gift! 100 children had the chance to shop for themselves and their loved ones. We didn’t forget about the younger children either! Kendall Auto Alaska provided 44 gift sets of Slumberkins emotional support friends, ensuring no child missed the magic of the holiday season.
It was an honor to join forces with our local heroes, the Anchorage Police Department and the Anchorage Fire Department, in this incredible initiative. Seeing the smiles on the children’s faces as we wrapped their gifts reminded us why giving back to the community is so important.
