Kendall Toyota of Anchorage was thrilled to collaborate with Hilltop and Anchorage Cops for Community (AC4C) to bring the Bikes and Badges initiative to life! Kids from three local shelters enjoyed a day of downhill biking, with some experiencing riding a bike for the very first time. There were a few tumbles, but their determination to learn how to ride prevailed! For those with more riding experience, this was a chance to venture out, attempt some jumps, and even ride a chair lift! From ascending the hills to nature walks down, and from learning to ride to engaging in biking games, it was truly an extraordinary day! A heartfelt thank you to Raising Cane’s for providing the food, Premier Alaska Tours for the transportation, and the volunteer coaches who not only taught some kids how to ride but also helped more experienced riders enhance their skills. We appreciate everyone who contributed to making this fun-filled day possible for all!
