Concerts, Cowboy Hats, & Community – 2025 Deschutes County Fair and Rodeo Highlights!
Kendall Central Oregon had another unforgettable year at the 2025 Deschutes County Fair & Rodeo! This five-day event included rodeos, concerts, a demolition derby, and so much more! The Kendall Central Oregon team was honored to be highly involved in the fun, from greeting everyone at the front entrance, celebrating concerts from the stage and on the cabana, driving a truck into the rodeo arena and Demolition Derby, and beyond. As the proud sponsor of the Free Summer Concert Series, we can’t wait to share all the highlights –
Day one kicked off with Brothers Osborne, a rockin’ country duo who brought in a large crowd of cowboys & community alike. The Kruse Brothers traveled from Arizona to Redmond to open for Brothers Osborne, and definitely set the tone for the rest of the performances. We invited Kendall Central Oregon staff & families, customers, and friends to enjoy each concert from the best seat in the house at Kendall Toyota of Bend cabana. With themed cowboy hats and t-shirts for each concert, the Kendall team had the opportunity to take the stage each night and shoot t-shirt cannons while throwing cowboy hats to the crowds!
On day two of the Deschutes County Fair & Rodeo, AWOLNATION took the stage with a performance defying all music genres. AWOLNATION performed the perfect mix of electro-rock, saving his international hit “Sail” to close out the show. With a different music genre each night, the Kendall team got to meet many locals and travelers for the event. We even had the opportunity to hand out additional VIP tickets so more people could enjoy the performances up close! Local DJ Grant Fisher opened and closed each show, not only amplifying the excitement but extending the celebration.
With each day, the number of attendees and concert crowds grew. Day three, Diplo presents Thomas Wesley took the stage. Diplo’s performance was nothing short of memorable, as he DJ’d music from all generations and rocked a Kendall cowboy hat for half of his performance. Diplo presents Thomas Wesley drew in the perfect crowd, full of energy and excitement throughout the entire show. Although we are sad it’s over, we hope that Diplo will come back to Central Oregon for future concerts and events!
Saturday proved to be a record-breaking day of attendees at the Deschutes County Fair and Rodeo. Despite some weather delays and classic Central Oregon thunderstorm, Trey Songz gave a performance that made it worth the wait. The Deschutes County Fair & Rodeo launched a new initiative this year titled “Tough Enough to Wear Pink,” which was supported by pink shirts, cowboy hats, and donations. Saturday also marked the second annual Demolition Derby, which had a record-breaking number of participants and filled the stands. The Kendall team was honored to kick off this event by driving a truck into the “smash zone” and shooting t-shirt cannons.
Sunday proved to be another challenge with the Central Oregon weather, but that didn’t stop La Original Banda El Limon from performing indoors in the rodeo arena! Concert goers moved indoors after the Hooker Creek Duel in the Desert to stay out of the rain, and keep the celebration going! The Kendall team would like to give a huge shoutout to the Deschutes County Fair and Rodeo team for providing quick solutions and keeping all attendees safe over the five-day event. Thank you to our community, staff and partners for making this an unforgettable 2025 Deschutes County Fair & Rodeo, we can’t wait to see you next year!
