Kendall Central Oregon & Citizens4Community Kick Off Let’s Watch Movie Series with a Classic, CARS!

Kendall Central Oregon is thrilled to partner with a local nonprofit, Citizens4Community, on an outdoor movie series taking place in August-September 2025. The series was launched with a family-classic, Cars! This awesome movie series is powered by Kendall, with a 16ft inflatable movie screen powered by a Ford Lightning. The first movie in the series kicked off at Village Green Park in Sisters, where attendees got to enjoy snacks, games, and community before Cars started at sunset. In addition, there was a prize on the line for the car that looked most like one of the characters in Cars, which went to our very own, Greg Citron! This series would not be possible without multiple partnerships, including Sisters Fire Corps who not only provided firetruck tours but gave out popcorn for free!

The idea for this free movie series was brought to us by Citizens4Community, a local nonprofit dedicated to building community by encouraging civility, collaboration, and civic engagement. With the Kendall Cares mission dedicated to making our communities happier, healthier, and safer places to live, this natural partnership was born. The goal of this movie series is to provide memorable and accessible experiences for our community, resulting in free admission and opportunities to give back to other nonprofits that make Central Oregon, Central Oregon. Thank you to all the families and community members that made this first premier so unforgettable, we invite everyone to join us on August 22nd at Sisters Artworks for the showing of Encanto!
