Shop With a Cop 2025!

On Day Two of 12 Days of Caring, Kendall Central Oregon joined the Deschutes County Sheriff’s for their annual Shop with a Cop event! Students were nominated for an unforgettable Holiday experience, getting the opportunity to shop at Walmart with a deputy. Oregon State Police, Deschutes County Sheriff’s, and Bend PD picked up the selected kids from school and brought them to Walmart, where they shopped for gifts for their family members. When the kids were done shopping, they brought their carts to the Kendall team and many other community volunteers to be wrapped! We are amazed at the thoughtfulness of each gift, including blankets for mom, Lilo & Stitch toys for siblings, and work boots for dad.

In addition, Santa Claus made a special appearance and our team was thrilled to hand out some antler beanies to the kids, and even some of the deputies! Shop with a Cop is an incredible 3-day event, starting in Redmond and ending with two full shopping days in Bend. Thank you to the Deschutes County Sheriff’s office and volunteers for making this experience magical for everyone involved!
