Kendall Auto Washington partnered with the Tulalip Boys & Girls Club and their Life & Workforce Readiness Program to teach the kids about what it’s like to work in sales at Kendall Auto Washington. The Life & Workforce Readiness Program is all about showing young people different career paths and jobs to consider for their future with local experts in our community.
Kendall Subaru of Marysville Sales Manager, Tal Pierce was our expert for the program. He shared his background and his role at Kendall, provided information on the company, taught the kids lessons in sales, played a trivia game with them, provided them with giveaways, and even brought them outside to show them a new car and have them practice selling the car to him. The kids had a great time learning from Tal and had fun trying out their sales skills.
Overall, it was a fun event, and we’re excited to kick off another Life & Workforce Readiness event with the Snohomish County Boys & Girls Clubs this summer at one of our dealerships.
About the Snohomish County Boys & Girls Clubs Life & Workforce Readiness Program: We know it’s hard to dream about something you haven’t seen, which is why career exploration is key for young people to unlock potential career paths. Many paths lead to great futures–whether it’s trade school, college, military enrollment or straight to a career. Boys & Girls Clubs are kids’ first networks – the place where they meet mentors, hone their skills, ignite their interests and connect to opportunities.
