The 2nd Annual Star’s Great Cardboard Regatta was more than just cardboard boats racing across the water, it was a community coming together to make a real difference.
Kendall Auto Group was proud to sponsor and volunteer at this incredible event supporting the Star Food Bank’s Capital Campaign. Serving more than 20,000 people each year from a facility that’s only 900 square feet, the Star Food Bank has a bold vision to purchase land and build a new home to better serve our growing community.
Thanks to the generosity of sponsors, participants, volunteers, and spectators, this year’s event raised more than $57,000 to help make that vision a reality!
A huge thank you to Star Mayor Trevor Chadwick and Nate Shelman for literally taking the plunge to support the cause. Your enthusiasm brought smiles, laughter, and even more attention to an important mission.
We’re also incredibly grateful to the Boise Bighorns Lacrosse Club, our amazing Kendall team, and every volunteer who gave their time to make this event a success.
Together, we proved that a cardboard boat race can do something extraordinary, help build hope for our neighbors.
Let’s Start Something Great.
