Boots, Bets, & The Best Company!

There’s nothing quite like an evening at the Crooked River Roundup Horse Races, and this year’s Ladies Night, proudly sponsored by Kendall Auto Group, was one to remember!

Before heading into the grandstands, our Kendall team gathered for a Horse Race Tailgate, complete with dinner, drinks, lawn games, and plenty of friendly competition. The highlight? Our very own inflatable horse races! Employees gave their trusty stallions names worthy of the racetrack, including favorites like Zippy, Gluestick, and Broke as a Joke, before racing to the finish line. The top three finishers received cash prizes to place bets on the night’s races (for those 21 and older), while our younger participants won enough money to stock up on racetrack treats like corn dogs and cotton candy.

Our team had front-row seats near the finish line, where we cheered on the incredible horses and jockeys, where we got to witness some exciting photo finishes. Kendall Cares also had the honor of serving as judges for the annual Ladies Night Hat Contest, one of the evening’s most beloved traditions. The creativity on display was remarkable, with women showcasing everything from elegant fascinators to wildly imaginative creations. After selecting the top three hats, the crowd took over, voting by applause for first, second, and third place. The winning hat—an impressively crafted shrimp—was certainly one of the most memorable we’ve ever seen!

Events like these are made possible by countless volunteers, organizers, athletes, and of course, the incredible horses that make every race unforgettable. We’re proud to be part of a tradition that brings our community together year after year, and we can’t wait to see everyone back at the races next summer!
