This September, Kendall Cares is teaming up with The Giving Plate for Cereal for Children, a month-long food drive with one big goal: fill a truck with cereal for local families!

Throughout the entire month of September, we’re inviting our Central Oregon community to drop off boxes of cereal at Kendall Auto Group. Any brand, any size—we want them all! Each donation will be added to a truck right inside our showroom as we work together to fill it from the ground up.

All cereal collected will help stock The Giving Plate’s distribution center and provide an important pantry staple for individuals and families throughout our community. Monetary donations will also be accepted for those who would like another way to support the drive. The Giving Plate is a community-centered nonprofit in Bend dedicated to providing compassionate, dignified, and inclusive food relief. Through food, their team works to bring hope, respect, and love to neighbors experiencing food insecurity while creating a community where every person feels valued beyond their circumstances.

Cereal for Children is all about community supporting community. Whether you bring in one box, a whole cartful, or make a monetary donation, every contribution helps us get a little closer to a full truck—and helps The Giving Plate keep its shelves stocked for the families who count on them.
