The Kendall Hero Games is a high-energy strength and teamwork competition held during Military Appreciation Day at the Western Idaho Fair, bringing together Veterans, active-duty military, first responders, local businesses, and community teams for an exciting, crowd-driven event. Hosted in front of the Kendall Auto booth at Expo Idaho, the competition draws hundreds of attendees from a fair audience of over 250,000 and delivers powerful visibility for sponsors while supporting impactful causes. Teams compete in fast-paced challenges on behalf of Veteran and first responder nonprofits, with winnings directly benefiting those organizations. As part of the Support Our Patriots initiative, the Kendall Hero Games helps drive awareness, funding, and year-round support for nonprofits dedicated to serving those who have served our communities and country.
How the Competition Works
Each team registers in support of a Veteran or first responder nonprofit, ensuring every competition directly benefits those who serve our communities and country.
- Top three teams win cash prizes
- A minimum of 50% of winnings is donated back to their selected nonprofit
- Each event winner directs an additional $500 donation to one of the featured nonprofits with Support our Patriots
- Additional proceeds from sponsorships benefit Support Our Patriots and its nonprofit partners

Providing therapeutic outdoor experiences that foster healing and connection
Enhancing veterans’ well-being through the game of golf at no cost

About Support Our Patriots
Support Our Patriots, formerly known as Putts for Patriots, was founded in 2021 to strengthen Veteran-focused nonprofits and expand their impact. What started as a small putt-putt tournament has grown into a year-round initiative that includes a gala, golf tournament, and the Kendall Hero Games.
Each year, four nonprofits are selected to participate in fundraising events that generate critical funding and community awareness—helping ensure Veterans and their families receive the support they deserve at every stage of their journey.
