“The Tulalip Boys and Girls Club is a fun and safe place for kids.” These words from Shawn Sanchey, the Tulalip Boys & Girls Club Director, echo the essence of what this organization stands for. The Club is not merely a place; it’s a haven where children have the chance to explore, create, make friends, receive academic support, discover sports, and enjoy a nutritious meal every day.
What makes this club even more remarkable is that it operates free of charge for every child who walks through its doors, thanks to generous donations from supporters. The services provided by the Tulalip Boys & Girls Club go beyond just a safe space; they actively promote the health, social, educational, vocational, and character development of boys and girls in our community.
Empowering Youth Through Programs
The Boys and Girls Club of Tulalip doesn’t just stop at providing a safe environment; it actively engages in programs that foster growth and development. Through before and after school programs, the club aims to help young people improve their lives by building self-esteem, developing values, and teaching skills during critical periods of growth.
The array of fun and educational programs available at all of their Clubs is designed to give Club kids new opportunities to learn and grow. These programs are available to all Club members, nurturing their individual strengths and helping them succeed not only within the Club’s walls but also outside in the broader community.
